I work across the stack, mainly in Go and TypeScript. Backend systems, infrastructure and DevOps are where I’d like to focus next.

Go · PostgreSQL/PostGIS
React · MapLibre

A map for exploring Bay Area employer offices near a chosen location.

The Go API supports spatial searches, validated data imports and a report-review workflow. The React map handles changing searches, saved places and failed requests.

It maps employer offices rather than open jobs. Walking reach is a distance estimate, without street routing.

A terminal interface for managing WireGuard tunnels on Linux.

I built it to switch between local profiles and see which tunnels are active without typing out configuration names. It separates the terminal UI from command execution and tracks which operations succeeded or failed when working with multiple tunnels.

About

A little background.

Before moving into software, I worked in data analytics and chemical engineering research. I completed an MSc at the University of Cape Town, where I also taught numerical simulation and optimization.

I recently moved to San Francisco to join my wife, Emily. Away from the computer, I enjoy speedcubing and brewing.

I’m looking for a software engineering role in San Francisco, where I can contribute, learn from experienced engineers and work alongside people in person.
